This fascinating article by Bob Jeffrey interviews 5 publicans of pubs based in the Stroud area about their pandemic experience.
It covers how some dealt with isolation or used the lock downs as opportunities to review their finances, renew connections with their families, an opportunity to do much needed pub renovations or reorganise their pub layout.
The article also explores coping with post lock down and some continued Government restrictions such as wearing masks, maintaining distance or having to serve beer only in the open
It’s a good read. Any comment or or question I’m sure Bob would be interested to hear. He can be contacted on bj@eande.org.uk
