  • Goat returns to the Globe in Stonehouse

    As announced on Facebook, The Globe Inn in Stonehouse is set to reopen at the end of April under it’s previous name. General consensus was the rebrand to primarily a restaurant under the name of GOAT was an unpopular move.

  • The Old Neighbourhood has reopened

  • Rose & Crown back on the market as stable planning removed

    We regret to inform you that our purchase of the Rose and Crown is not proceeding – for now, at least.

    Following the recent withdrawal of the stables planning application, the owner has decided to put the stables and the pub back on the market. 

    we have communicated to the owner that our existing offer to purchase the pub remains on the table, and we hope a buyer for the stables can be found quickly so that our purchase of the pub can resume. 

  • Nympsfield set to Purchase the Rose & Crown

    We are excited to announce that we have reached an agreement with the pub’s owner to purchase the Rose & Crown Inn! 🌹👑❤️

    We have instructed a law firm experienced in commercial property transactions that has worked with several community pubs, and we intend to complete the purchase by the end of March.

    In parallel, we have launched a Membership Loans Offer to raise the additional funds required to complete the purchase and begin renovation work on the pub.   • Anne set to retire after 24 years at the Old Crown Inn, Ebley. Pub for sale.

    Wednesday nights has, for the last few weeks, been a surveying night for Stroud Chairman Tony and I. This week our second stop was at the Old Crown Inn, Ebley. Whilst Tony was aware that Oak Taverns had put the pub up for sale, it was on our visit we found out why.

    Anne has managed and worked behind the bar in Ebley for the past 24 years. Currently the plans are for the establishment, alongside Anne, to remain open until the start of June when Anne will retire. The pub is up for sale at £395,000.
