Wednesday nights has, for the last few weeks, been a surveying night for Stroud Chairman Tony and I. This week our second stop was at the Old Crown Inn, Ebley. Whilst Tony was aware that Oak Taverns had put the pub up for sale, it was on our visit we found out why.
Anne has managed and worked behind the bar in Ebley for the past 24 years. Currently the plans are for the establishment, alongside Anne, to remain open until the start of June when Anne will retire. The pub is up for sale at £395,000.
